SG D-Day Plus 7: Colonial District at Night
One Sunday afternoon with nothing else to do, I just wanted to go out and explore some sights. Good thing I brought with me my Lonely Planet guide to Singapore (since I still have no internet access during this time) and decided to do one of the walking tours in the book. This one is the Colonial District where the city lights are really a sight to behold like the Singapore Musem (will come back next time to go inside), Esplanade, Singapore River (stunning lights), Clark Quay, Boat Quay, Merlion Park, and the gigantic Marina Bay Sands (will explore more of this next time) to name a few. I started from Doby Gaut MRT station and walked all the way to Marina Bay. I got lost many times trying to find the landmarks, but it was a great experience, it felt good to go out and explore, and get to know the place I can't wait to see what this city has in store for me.. will try again to explore some other parts of the city next time.
